Noro's aurora

A very special friend of mine at work nearly lost her life last week after complications after surgery. My whole unit was devastated. This nurse is remarkable. Luckily, she survived the code and is now extubated. I didn't know what else to do so I sat down and dug into my yarn and pulled out one of my favorite yarns, Noro's aurora. This lady is a gem and I just want her to have something knitted from me. I still have the other half to knit up then I will block it out. She is a real trooper and we just have to take it one day at a time. For now, I am so greatful that she is awake and talking and recognizes everyone.

That is just lovely. I have been knitting prayer shawls for friends, but have never used Noro Aurora. What a spectacular yarn! I bet your friend just loved what you made for her... I'd love to see the whole thing when pau.
