The family

Abigail let me paint her hoofs today. They are orange. Not sure if this princess costume will still fit her for Halloween. She is now 20 pounds at 7 months.

Thistle shawl

Here are some pics of my thistle shawl. Using handpainted cotton on a size 10 needle. You'll be able to see more of the lace once I block it.

My first sock

Aloha Yarn brought in this beautiful sock yarn. It's Blue Ridge Keleidoscope. Very nice to knit with.

Abigail

Abbie is doing great (spoiled!). Took her to the vet yesterday. She weighs 4.5 pounds. Loves to be held and snuggled!

Meet Abbie

Could not resist this Vietnamese pot belley pig. I've held back many times but when I saw this one, I had to bring her home! Providing I feed her a special pig food, she should grow to 35 pounds. We named her Abbie. Short for Abigail.

My little man

Another shot of Kino.

May Day

Jessie's in Kidnergarten waiting to perform in her May Day program. Kino played an algae in his performance. They sang their hearts out!

One more elephant!

My noro fix

This was a great way to get my noro fix. The pattern was quick!

One more wedding gift

A coworker of mine is getting married next month then moving to the mainland. I knitted her a quick starfish scarf made out of Cloud 9. Merino and angora. Very soft.

Purly Girl

This was sewn on by Moon. Very creative lady. She got the comfy jacket from a thrift store and created the letters. I have no idea how she did it as I am so not a sewer. It's really cool. You can't tell by the pic but it is like an army green. I like it. Thank you Purly Girl!

Drooping Elm

This is comming along good. If I stop picking up other projects I could actually get it done. But since I'm done with my friends shawl, I'm now working on a wrap with seahorses and a crab. I tried using this mohair to knit it up and it didn't work out for me. So instead, I chose some green Venezia. Another wonderful yarn to knit with.

Malabrigo Ocean Current

Here's my Ocean Current wrap using Malabrigo. This yarn is so incredibly soft. Thank you Donna! I'd definately use this yarn again. Worth the indulgence for sure.

Had to bring the starfish to the beach for a shot!

A present for a friend

I knitted this vine lace pattern up using Noro's Silk Garden. Just got done mailing it off to a friend that is getting married this Saturday. I am very happy for them.

Starfish

This was knitted using chunky alpaca. Very soft. This is the starfish pattern from Ocean Breeze.
