Been out of the loop the last couple of weeks. Well as some of you know, I just had a brain tumor removed the other week. My head is still kind of splittng. I begin brain radiation tommorow, go in for surgery this Wednesday to get a port placed and eventually will begin chemo and have have surgery on my liver.
Everytime I try to work on my Forrest Path Stole, I get dizzy. Think I just need to let my head heal. I was able to knit a hat for my friends daughter. I used Noro's Silk Garden. The yarn is just beautiful so it kept it interesting but the pattern was just going round and round and decreasing. I think once I get off some of these meds next week, my head will feel better. I really want to work on my stole.
LOL, my husband said as I was waking from surgery from my brain, I was knitting the air! Too funny!
I have faith it will be alright. Just got to put on my big girl pants again and fight the fight again. My kids are doing great. They are a big strength and of course you are all a big part of my life and I appreciate you all very much.
For those of you that don't have blogs, ya have to send me pics so I can see what you are all knitting!

Hey first mate! wish we would have had time to meet while I was there in HI visiting Moon chic, I wish you well! Too funny about knitting in the air! I took care of this dude who loved fly fishing, and while he was in recoverey he had me hold his invisable line while he made more flys. Too funny what we love to do! Take care!!
Tia, I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers! If I can do anything, just ask!
Thank you friends. You all rock!
I'm so sorry I can't be there for you physically, but I'm definitely with you at heart and in mind. I am SURE that everything will work out, there is no doubt in my mind that you will fight the battle and win again. You're tough and I know you can do it, you didn't win the fight before to let it take you down now. Don't worry too much about your knitting you have time, just rest and get better. I can't wait until I see you next, and if you want any yarn or anything that I can get for you here just ask.
