Here are some pics of my thistle shawl. Using handpainted cotton on a size 10 needle. You'll be able to see more of the lace once I block it.

How beautiful she is!!!!!and the yarn aint so shabby either! (or the husband!)lol...the way you have your bodhisatva draped reminds me of the buddha's in Cambodia. The monks wrap saffron colored cloaks around them.....its beautiful!
